THOUGHT

She is a creation of God, who is wonderful, amazing, and majestic.
In her prime, she embodied an independent spirit forged by the principles of the Holy Bible. She conquered, overcame, and stood firm in her convictions, though at times, her ambition trampled the unfamiliar or weak.
As she grew, her spirit for righteousness and justice was tarnished by her pursuit of recognition, wealth, and power. An outcast herself, she sought to embrace others yearning for freedom, but greed led her to permit the enslavement of others. She was filled with guilt as she struggled to reconcile her double-minded ways.
Yet, her charm and beauty were undeniable. She became a global influencer, inspiring others to govern as she did. Allies received her loyalty, and she fought fiercely for her friends. She became a beacon of hope for those seeking opportunities, a source of education for those seeking knowledge, and a symbol of liberty for those seeking freedom. Even her enemies respected and feared her. They sought her out for wisdom, and economic support.
In time she realized her double-mindedness hindered her greatness. A revival transformed her, aligning her closer to her original ideals. Realizing that she was ‘beautifully and wonderfully made”, she embraced her flaws and cherished all that God had created within her.  She thrived, sharing her blessings and resources generously. She was more than acceptable; she was the best!
She rose from humble beginnings to be considered the most beautiful in the world. The world applauded her, catered to her, and  pursued her. Her power and influence seemed boundless. She used the creative gifts God gave her to prosper with enough to sustain herself and to bless others. She was “THE ONE”.
Over time, she became indulgent and obsessed with power. “In God We Trust” faded in importance as her pursuit of power replaced her dependence on God. She consumed, negotiated, and bought as though limits did not exist.
The shining star soon grew bloated, sluggish, and self-absorbed. Her strength gave way to sickness. Her boldness turned into paranoia. She began to distrust her friends. She stared in the mirror and no longer recognized her beauty. The very laws that governed her life now felt like shackles.
She is now sick—covered in sores and in desperate need of healing. But instead of turning to God the Great Physician for medicine to cure her, she is instread depending on man-inspired remedies.
She isolates herself, hoping to avoid contamination. She invents new currencies to protect her wealth. She is cutting off parts of herself she deems flawed, ugly or unacceptable, thinking this will preserve her beauty. She follows the advice of the richest men on earth, hoping their strategies will save her.
There is a cure. The medicine she needs does not come from men. It cannot be bought. It is found in humility. In prayer. In repentance . As stated in 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
We know her. We love her.And we long to see her restored to her former beauty, honor, and strength among the nations.
We call her the United States of America.
God’s medicine can save her!
If we all yell loud enough,I am confidentSHE WILL HEAR!!
