Most Gracious and Merciful Father,
I come to you, thanking you for the gift of life that you have granted to me and those who are able to share this prayer with me this day.
I am grateful, Oh God, for your loving kindness and tender mercy as we move from celebrating the birth of your son Jesus, to the beginning of what we perceive to be a New Year. As we started last year's journey, we did not know that we would make it to the end of this year, and because we are still here, we say, "Thank YOU!." As we remember the economic, health and spiritual challenges we faced, overcame and conquered, in 2022, we say, "Thank YOU!." As we remember those family members and friends that we have lost through, death, divorce, military service, disease and other separations, and for whom we still mourn, we say, "Thank YOU!." As we remember the births, the graduations, the weddings, and other celebrations of life that we were able to witness and share, we say, "Thank YOU!." As we remember the storms that we have faced and may still be recovering from , we say, "Thank YOU!."As we remember the lonely hours, the times of confusion, the pain and suffering, the moments of fear and doubt and the punishment that we deserved, but that you were merciful to save us from, we say, "Thank YOU!."As we move into this next year,I ask that you touch each of us and fill us with your Glory. Give us all a special outpouring of Faith, so that we can walk without fear, or concern for circumstances, or opinion or condemnation of others.Empower us to conquer our fears, give us the power to walk in love and the desire to share with others from the bounty that you have provided to us.Heal us in body, mind and spirit. Forgive us when we acknowledge and repent for our sins. Please make us whole and set us apart for Your service. Lord, give us the desire to be good disciples and obedient children as we become living testimonies of Your blessings.Father, let us always acknowledge that it is You who is guiding, protecting, leading and providing for us through the circumstances that lie ahead. Let us understand that Your mercies are new every morning, while we prepare to witness how great your faithfulness is towards us. Let us patiently wait for You, and confidently walk with You, while we eagerly work to prove ourselves worthy of your love and compassion towards us.
Dear God, We ask that You bless us all according to your continuing Grace and Mercy.
In the precious name of Jesus, the Christ, I pray. Amen!
God Bless You!!
